Geraniums

Geraniums can easily be differentiated from Pelargonia as they have a simple round flower with five equal petals. This is in contrast to Pelargonia that have huge variation in their irregular shaped flowers and usually have two petals pointing up and three petals pointing down.

Their colouring ranges from white through to dark purply blues and maroon. Many of the flowers have delicate markings that invite close inspection.
