For many years, the TV programme Gardeners World was introduced by the famous Geoff Hamilton.
Many of the episodes were filmed in his own garden at Barnsdale in Rutland. On a large part of the land, many small gardens were built over the years, each designed with a different theme. Barnsdale Gardens has become a popular place to visit.
You can see gardens that would suit an urban setting and gardens for the vegetable enthusiast. One of the gardens is purely a herb garden.
